About Me: Brother Student Minister Abdul Sharrieff Muhammad’s Biography
Southern Regional Student Minister Abdul Sharrieff Muhammad was born in Brunswick, Georgia. Minister Sharrieff is the dedicated husband of 38 years to Sister Sharrieffah Muhammad, the proud father of 6 children, the accomplished grandfather and a loving great grandfather.
Minister Sharrieff first experienced The Life-Giving Teachings of The Honorable Elijah Muhammad in 1981. As a very dedicated and disciplined soldier, Brother Sharrieff quickly rose through the ranks of the Nation of Islam’s Mosque No. 4 in Washington D.C. He received the holy name Muhammad in 1984.
In 1986 Brother Student Minister Sharrieff advanced in the local ranks as Captain, and was then promoted to the Mid-Atlantic Regional Captain in 1987. For many years Minister Sharrieff traveled extensively with The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan throughout the United States and the World as part of his security team. In April of 1988, Brother Sharrieff led a group of dedicated men into the drug infested Mayfair Mansions in northeast Washington, D.C. Within a 24-hour period,the crime ridden Mayfair Mansion was transformed from the largest open-air drug market in Washington D.C. to a drug free zone. This sparked the birth of the N.O.I. Security Agency, Inc. (formerly known as the “Dope Busters”).
On May 26, 1991, Minister Sharrieff was inaugurated as the Supreme Captain, the highest military position in the Nation of Islam. Minister Sharrieff was in-charge of the personal security of The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan. He held this position for nine years, where he traveled throughout six of the seven continents.

In 2014, he received a Religion Award from the Concerned Black Clergy of Atlanta and the Key to the City of Tupelo, MS. With His 501 c3 organization named People United for Change, Bro. Sharrieff operates a food pantry once a week. Under his leadership the food pantry has provided the community with over 500,000 pounds of food each year. In addition to the food pantry, People United for Change, feeds hot breakfast to the less fortunate every Sunday morning. He most recently received The Social Justice Award from the Concerned Black Clergy of Atlanta. In 2015 after the 20th Anniversary of the Million Man March, Justice or Else, 10.10.15 March, Student Minister Abdul Sharrieff Muhammad joined forces with Reverend Timothy McDonald to extend the Atlanta Local Organizing Committee to establish the 10,000 Fearless Men & Women Headquarters of the South. This headquarters was established after The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan put a call out for 10,000 Fearless Men & Women to go in our communities and open conflict resolution centers to “Make our communities a safe and decent place to live.” Brother Sharrieff is currently partnering with all the Local Organizing Committees around the country to open up 10,000 Fearless Headquarters all around the world, following the instructions of the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan, after being placed as the interim National Director of the 10,000 Fearless Men and Women.
Brother Student Minister Abdul Sharrieff Muhammad continues today as an aid to The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan. Minister Farrakhan recently referred to him by saying, “I sent you my BEST.” All Praises are Due to Allah (God)
